• Anytype is focused on things like wikis, chat, forums, etc
• Organised via “spaces”, which are encrypted DAGs
• local-first = data at your fingertips
• local-first social = social graph at your fingertips
  • Thier protocol on this idea is called “no one in-between”
  • Makes spaces user-owned and controlled by creators
  • Delegate host costs while maintaining privacy
  • Fast & scalable
  • Native mobile
• Everything signed cryptographically (Ed25519)
• Encrypted with AES
• Security model: access control list (on a blockchain)
  • This point of onlinem logic centralisation is very pragmatic but IMO breaks the lofi promise
    • You have to take the least upper bound of the consistency guarantees, but they put strict linearizabilty on the hot path
